Our 13yo, who knows his mama well, bought me a bird feeder for my birthday.
Last night we filled it.
This morning, we had tiny visitors...
Around-about the same time we start getting elderly (people) snowbirds, we get flighty snowbirds who also come here to the Gulf Coast just for the Winter.
We welcome both types of snowbirds, the peopled ones and the feathered ones.
A few birds stick it out during the warmer months, thank goodness. Those include the chickadee and the cardinal (below). We appreciate their stick-to-it-tiveness!
