"Use tongs, tweezer, or clothespins to pick up different items around the house or yard." Hmm, that's not something I'd have ever thought of, but it does sound like fun! That was today's memory-making activity out of our Do Something Together calendar.
Some suggestions are more practical, such as "Make your own juice by squeezing fruit" or "Clean out the freezer."
Do Something Daily is a perpetual (that is, it's good for any year) memory-making calendar, full of 365 suggestions of activities for your family to do together.
The calendar is about 4"x6", spiral bound, and can stand on its own. Simply flip to today's date (this is a favorite job of my children), read the day's activity, and see if you can fit that memory-making event into the day.
The calendar is full of fun tips, chores, indoor/outdoor projects, seasonal ideas, games, and even some cooking projects. I live in an area where it doesn't snow, so I checked the winter months of Do Something Daily to see if they forgot about us Southerners and suggested a snow activity, but try as a might, I didn't find one! I guess they thought of nearly everything.
Here is a little more about the product from the manufacturer and a link for purchase, if you like:
$19.95
The Calendar offers a daily dose of inspiration and ideas for spending time together—
whether you have 60 seconds or 60 minutes.
If you're looking for new ideas or can't seem to find your creativity lately, maybe Do Something Daily will inspire you, too.

My boys definitely need one of these! I always hear "I'm bored." "What can I do?" "I'm tired mom, this is boring."
